Dear Sir,

I recently installed your new computer systems for billing and reservations. I noticed that you do not have a full-time Information Technology Specialist. Your new systems are going to need daily maintenance, updates, virus protection systems changes and updates to keep current and keep your systems running at top efficiency, and to keep your data safe.

I was also made aware that you have wifi in all of your rooms and in your public spaces. I assume this means that many of your guests bring their computers with them for their stays.  At present you have no one on duty who can service or repair these computers.  I can see this becoming a critical problem during the winter when the roads become dangerous to impassable and there is no one on the premises who can do any necessary maintenance or repair to your own systems or those of your guests.

I am qualified and experienced in all of these areas.  My certificates, degree and places of experience are attached.

I would like to ask you to consider adding an Information Technology Specialist to your employees, and I would ask that you consider me for the position. I am already very familiar with your systems and am confident that I could do the job.

I understand that all of your employees live on the premises.  That would not be a problem as I live less than two hours away, so the move would be easily accomplished.

I do have two eight year old daughters who would be making the move with me, should you decide that this is a post which you need, and that I am the person for the position.
